First Line Software expands focus on e-Health market to The Netherlands and Europe in 2018
The First Line Software Healthcare IT Practice was established in the U.S. and has been steadily building up expertise while completing projects for companies and organizations around the world.
The Dutch e-Health market has its own specific requirements for technology and mobile solutions which made it logical for our team based in The Hague to attend one of the most important e-Health events in - Zorg & ICT 2018 – which was held April 17 – 19, 2018 in The Netherlands. All the major players in the e-Health market were represented at the conference. During the event we met up with our partner, InterSystems, a company we have collaborated with on a number of projects in the U.S.
During the event, EPIC, a global supplier of e-health solutions announced new solutions and conducted demos of their new capabilities. Dutch company ChipSoft, a leading EHR provider, was also at the conference. About 70% of the hospitals in The Netherlands are using the ChipSoft EHR solution.
In addition to private and public companies, we also met with MedMij, a not-for-profit organization focused on making sure patients have more control over their health information. We are pleased to be in talks with MedMij and look forward to further discussions about how First Line can partner with MedMij on achieving their ambitious initiatives.
Finally, in May 2018, we will be joining the Dutch delegation to participate at the HIMMS Europe conference in Barcelona. We look forward to seeing familiar faces to continue the dialogue and also establish many new connections.
