Over the past year, The Hague & Partners moved into The Hague’s WTC complex and expanded their existing activities. On February 18, 2019 they celebrated the official opening of their offices and presented an overview of their current plans and activities. Nearly 300 partners, including First Line, and other guests attended this housewarming event.
The keynote speaker, Joop Nijssen, Project Director Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2019 for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that the next Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) will be held on June 4-5, 2019. Initiated by the US Government, the GES is the pre‑eminent annual gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and thought leaders from around the world, creating a unique event that is a combination of an innovation marketplace and a policy forum.
This year’s Summit theme is “The Future Now.” It will be the first GES held in the European Union and will focus on five key investment areas: Agriculture/Food, Connectivity, Energy, Health, and Water. 1,200 companies will be invited to this event with more than 2,000 visitors from 140 countries expected to attend. During the two-day program, established entrepreneurs will be able to showcase their startups to a select group of decision-makers.
With an inspiring program, GES 2019 aims to be a game-changer for all attendees, empowering them to start building “The Future Now”. During the Summit, First Line plans to establish new connections and partnerships with curated matchmaking and global networking in key software development business areas. See you there!
