First Line customized the Optimizely (Episerver) Commerce Web-based platform so clients of the customer would be able to organize and automate the Automated system for ordering customized marketing materials process of creating and receiving printing marketing materials.
A large U.S.-based company provides digital printing services for the production of advertising and marketing materials. These services automate the process of creating and ordering standard marketing products: brochures, booklets, ads, e-blasts, and other materials in electronic format, including the creation of landing pages for websites. The customers of our client are large financial services organizations operating across the USA, Canada, and Western Europe.
The client approached First Line to develop a software solution for their B2B customers to fully automate the process of creating and managing the production of all types of marketing materials and promotional items, both in print and in electronic formats.
Within one month a prototype was created and accepted for the development of a system over the next 12 months. Next, the decision was made to make the system available to customers. Currently, the system is being developed for new customers. The load level is 100,000 users generating content simultaneously. The system is populated with more than 20,000 distinct items of marketing materials, including pdf booklets and presentations, as well as video and audio files.

The system also allows the customer to customize and adapt marketing materials for each individual user. One of the users of the platform is a Fortune 100 insurance company. The company has more than 100,000 agents who use the customized application as a tool to create marketing materials for clients. The system allows users to configure marketing information, create personalized, signed booklets, manage the printing of materials or generate them electronically in PDF format and send them to customers, and create website landing pages. It also facilitates budget management for the individual agent. The system includes the stages of content control, as well as budget and logistics control.

- The option of organizing a workflow system of approvals for a budget, logistics, and content.
