“Pass to Visit” - Application for Permission to Access a Site
First Line Software developed a new visitor pass software, “Pass to Visit”, that screens visitors for Covid-19 symptoms. The application can easily be modified to ask visitors additional questions such as, “have you had any Covid-19 exposure prior to this visit?”
- Users are screened for symptoms to obtain a “ Pass to Visit” when they are planning a visit or right at the facility entrance.
- The online visitor management system works in two modes–personal and manual
The personal mode is convenient for screening employees. Users can log in and self-screen anytime, anywhere. When they log in, the system automatically populates their information (name, DOB, etc.), and employer information (employee ID, department info, etc.).
When interacting with visitors (e.g. restaurant/hotel/spa) an employee enters the visitor’s name and any other details required by the organization.
The manual mode is used to screen guests at the facility entrance. A facility attendant searches by the person’s personal information such as name or email, in the visitor gate pass management system.
After a successful screening, guests receive a “ Pass to Visit” and email notification. Then they can simply complete their booking, reservation, or whatever process is required by the organization. If a guest fails the screening, ”Stay at home” instructions are generated.
The visitor management system records weekly, daily, and monthly statistics including:
- Number of app users
- Number of passed and failed screenings
- A detailed analysis of all symptoms
- Mobile Web app with no installation needed; also available as a URL link
- Implementation based on ASP.NET Core open source technology
- Can be installed on-premises or in the cloud
- Integration with a range of client authentication systems, if required.
