Senior Business Development Executive

First Line Software is currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive in the New England/New York Metro geography. This consultative sales professional is a Hunter - a front line, experienced business person who will find, develop, and drive new IT outsourcing business throughout the Americas. Focusing on the Healthcare, Enterprise Mobility, Wearable Technology, Content Management, Digital Media & Publishing verticals, candidates will have past proven success selling custom software services with documented evidence of exceeding quotas repeatedly; enjoy identifying, pursuing and closing business deals; and have experience developing relationships through networking groups and marketing activities.

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Sales Executive will be focused on finding and developing business within new accounts at the highest level within the Americas. Experience in software development and knowledge of the Agile Application Development Life Cycle is critical and experience in offshore outsourcing is a plus. Past experience selling outsourcing services and application outsourcing into the United States is a requirement. Knowledge of Content Management and E-commerce Software solutions is a plus. This job will span the full range of activities from prospecting, marketing, selling, relationship management, and account management.

Candidate Requirements:
  • 8 - 10 years of successful business development experience within the custom application development space and IT Outsourcing. Prior project management experience or software development experience will be critical for the successful candidate. Knowledge of Agile Scrum and its implementation is helpful as Agile informs all of our deliverables.
  • Experience in lead generation, sourcing, positioning, managing, relationship building, and selling to C-Level executives is required.
  • Demonstrate a consultative sales approach with experience in constructing and delivering account specific business development and sales plans.
  • Have a strong track record in maintaining significant customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and business ethics.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to present to mid/large audiences.
  • Strong writing skills and proposal preparation skills.
  • Strong sales track record of consistently exceeding objectives/metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is essential.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Up to 40% travel is expected.

Compensation & Benefits:  A commensurate base salary and commission structure will reward the most motivated, determined, disciplined and focused sales professionals. Work from home office when not travelling.
