First Line Software is a premier provider of software engineering, software enablement, and digital transformation services. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the global staff of 450 technical experts serve clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
On February 18th, AI Lab One and World Startup launched an eight-event series focused on developing new concepts that use artificial intelligence to solve challenges in the healthcare industry. This series has been integrated into Transition Tuesday, which is an initiative of the World Startup Factory and facilitated by The Hague Tech. Meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
The first meeting in this series started off with a video introduction to the future of healthcare. Attendees split up into groups to discuss their biggest challenges in healthcare. Then they were introduced to the Problem First Approach Workshop which will be the foundation for the remaining meetings.
Participants will use these meetings and separate co-working sessions to brainstorm a solution, solidify the idea, consider obstacles such as regulations and privacy, and finally, pitch their solution at The Hague Tech.
The second of this event series was held on March 3rd. Anyone can attend the events, no matter the background and experience. All the meeting organizers ask is that attendees bring their passion for innovation!
As participants in this series, First Line Software brings extensive experience with using AI to solve tough business challenges. We worked with a large industrial client to develop a computer vision solution designed to improve safety among its workers. An industry partner engaged the First Line team to create a data governance solution based on machine learning for one of their hospital clients. Finally, as an Intersystems partner, we used their HealthConnect integration engine for a machine learning project designed to achieve fine-tuned data matching accuracy in existing data ingestion pipelines.
Stay tuned for updates on future meetings in this series.
