First Line Software Hosts Summer Client Summit 2016 in Prague

This year the First Line Software Client Summit was held in Prague. The choice of the city was especially meaningful since First Line recently opened a new development office there.

How to Stay Competitive through Digitalization and other topics were included on the agenda for the event. First Line execs and clients discussed how critical it is for companies to embrace Digitalization and shared best practices for executing on digital initiatives.

The guest speaker of the Summit was Kurt Bittner, a Principal Analyst with Forrester®. Kurt’s primary research covers how organizations can improve their speed and quality of delivery while reducing cost and improving overall business performance. His two main areas of focus are Continuous Delivery and DevOps. Kurt’s presentation “How Organizations are Using Agile and DevOps Practices to Revolutionize Product Delivery” stimulated a round of spirited  discussions among the participants.

Another conference session was devoted to discussing IT Development Practices as this topic was relevant to First Line’s recent acquisition of Solaris Development, a custom software solutions consultancy specializing in Healthcare.

“The Client Summit was wonderful to attend. First Line Software created a great opportunity for technology professionals to gather and share their knowledge, wisdom and ideas with each other. The speakers were insightful and educational, and there was also time for organized activities in beautiful Prague where I made new connections with wonderful people from First Line and its various client companies.
