13th ITS European Congress
First Line Software attended the 2019 became guest at ITS European Congress where we presented our company’s innovative projects to our partners.
The European Congress for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) opened Monday (June 3, 2019) in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, under the motto “Fulfilling ITS promises”. Around 3,500 visitors, 1,200 delegates and 150 exhibitors from 50 countries attended the congress, which lasted until June 6, 2019.
The ITS European Congress is part of a bigger cluster of ITS Congresses. It is organized in a European city in those years when the ITS World Congress is not held in Europe. The ITS World Congress rotates between Europe, the Asia Pacific region and the Americas. In addition, it works closely with the European Commission and the host city to deliver an outstanding event built around three pillars:
- International Program of sessions and presentations with top speakers from the industry
- Demonstrations of the current transport technologies developed and deployed throughout the world
- Exhibition of cutting-edge companies
These events are a strategic opportunity for the transport industry to come together and showcase the latest innovations, with a slightly different focus for each year. In addition, software companies like First Line Software are paying attention to how the transport industry is implementing innovations soft and technologies y to modern cities such as Visual Recognition and AI in modern cities, aiming to make urban life more comfortable and people friendly.
The Congress displays the host city’s latest achievements in the field of intelligent mobility services, thereby raising awareness of the importance of new solutions and investments in the host region and country.
