Our Gen AI-powered tool can generate compelling menu descriptions, identify ingredients based on images, enhance food images and change their background, generate new images based on input, create videos based on images, and provide Gen AI-powered personalized search based on the user’s taste or previous orders.
Client
Our client operates a vendor platform that connects restaurants with companies and building owners to organize popup events, arrange café services, and offer food delivery perks to employees.
Challenge
The client faced the challenge of inadequate food and restaurant descriptions, primarily because some of the restaurant partners are small, family-owned businesses with limited IT knowledge. This issue has impacted the user experience, reducing the platform’s effectiveness and appeal.
Our Approach
Our team, consisting of a developer and two prompt engineers, used a rapid development approach to address these challenges. We divided the work into prototypes:
- Prototype 1: Focus on advanced menu and image generation.
- Prototype 2: Implement “live photo” generation based on available images
- Prototype 3: Gen AI-powered personalized menu search.
Solution
We configured a Rapid Prototype using the ReTool low-code platform to save time on UI development and allow the client to experiment with the functionality and provide feedback before implementing the full-size Proof of Concept solution.
We’ve implemented a serverless architecture on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure functions that are triggered by user interactions within the ReTool interface. These functions act as intermediaries, routing user input data from the ReTool UI to two primary LLMs: GPT-4o for natural language processing and text generation and Stable Diffusion XL for image and video synthesis. This architecture ensures scalability, optimizes costs, and enables real-time Gen AI-driven content based on user input.
We tuned prompts to get the most reliable results and optimized costs per interaction on ReTool’s UI. This allowed the client to understand how much each functionality may cost when implementation moves to Production.
